LG CNS said on Tuesday it will pursue a proof of concept to apply an AI agent at Chaum’s health screening center with Chaum and Cha Healthcare.

LG CNS will develop an AI agent tailored to health screening work, and Chaum will verify work efficiency and usability at screening sites.

The AI agent will analyse screening history, consultation details and doctors’ recommendations spread across customer relationship management (CRM) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. It will present required test items and the reasons for them. It will also support writing result reports by combining test results and assessment opinions.

AI will also be used for follow-up care, including guidance on precautions before screening, managing schedules for retests and follow-up observation after screening, and linking patients with findings to outpatient treatment.

LG CNS plans to secure an AI agent model tailored to health screening consultations through the proof of concept and later expand the scope of application to major screening centers at CHA Hospital.

Chaum Director Kim Jae-hwa (김재화) said, "We will establish an AI-based intelligent screening system at Chaum to raise the level of customer care."

Bae Min (배민), executive director of LG CNS' Finance & Public Business Division, said, "We will apply the AI transformation capabilities we have built up to medical sites to drive innovation in screening services and improve operational efficiency."
