[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Offensive security specialist Enkey WhiteHat said on Sept. 7 it supplied KB Kookmin Bank with OFFen AI DAST, an AI-based web application penetration test automation solution.
The company said OFFen AI DAST complements the limits of rule-based detection in existing DAST tools and supports automation of the entire security assessment process.
It said the AI analyzes the structure and context of customer services to generate attack scenarios from multiple angles. It added that directly verifying whether vulnerabilities can be exploited reduces the burden of manual validation and lowers false positives.
OFFen AI DAST also supports certificate-based logins and internal security solutions to fit financial-sector security environments. With live login-based automatic authentication, it continuously checks not only the surface of web services but also internal pages that require complex authentication procedures.
Enkey WhiteHat said KB Kookmin Bank will use OFFen AI DAST to carry out continuous checks for vulnerabilities in large-scale web services and establish a rapid threat response system.
Enkey WhiteHat CEO Sung-kwon Lee (이성권) said, "Supplying OFFen AI DAST to KB Kookmin Bank is a meaningful achievement that shows our intelligent offensive security technology meets financial-sector standards." He added, "We will continue to provide a stable security environment that does not hinder corporate business operations, based on our AI security capabilities."
