Standard Energy supplies vanadium ion battery ESS to Hanyang University
Standard Energy said it installed a vanadium ion battery energy storage system at Hanyang University’s Seoul campus and began full operation after passing a pre-use inspection. It said the system will be used in a Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning national project led by GS E&C to develop and demonstrate a community energy management system. The ESS will link with solar power and other facilities to reduce peak demand and stabilize power quality.

Elice Group, Standard Energy target global market with AI PMDC
Elice Group said on Wednesday it signed an MOU with Standard Energy to jointly develop a power solution combining AI modular data centres with vanadium ion batteries. The companies aim to improve power stability, fire safety and energy efficiency amid rising data centre demand driven by the spread of AI services. They will develop modular UPS and BESS systems optimised for PMDCs and advance an AI-based energy management system.
