Pump.fun overhauls memecoin rewards model, introduces trader cashback
Memecoin platform Pump.fun has revamped its rewards model to introduce a cashback option for traders, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 18. The previous structure paid a 0.3 percent trading fee to memecoin creators, but drew criticism for being overly favourable to creators. Under the new approach, creators must choose either creator fees or trader cashback, and the decision cannot be changed. The overhaul comes as platform revenue declines.
