Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (창펑 자오) forecast that traditional IPOs will eventually shift to blockchain, arguing tokenised offerings can provide 24-hour liquidity, integrate with DeFi protocols and tap retail investors globally. The cryptocurrency market logged large-scale liquidations as macroeconomic jitters and risk-off sentiment weighed on prices. About $369.67 million in derivatives positions were forcibly liquidated in a day, pushing bitcoin and major altcoins lower. The slide centred on XRP, Ethereum and Solana as total market value fell to around $2.59 trillion to $2.70 trillion. Long positions accounted for most liquidations, while spot ETF flows showed net outflows for bitcoin and inflows for some other tokens.

Binance launches options trading for about 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs
Binance has started options trading on about 1,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds for eligible users outside the United States. The product can be accessed through a single Binance account and is physically settled, requiring delivery of the underlying shares when exercised. It is offered via Binance-affiliated broker-dealer Nest Trading under Abu Dhabi regulation, with Alpaca Securities handling execution, clearing, settlement and custody.
