U.S. CLARITY bill pushed to September; White House vows to press for passage

The Trump administration is sticking to a plan to pass the U.S. Senate’s CLARITY bill on digital asset market structure in September despite a delay in the chamber’s schedule. The White House’s top cryptocurrency policy official said negotiations would continue after the Senate’s August recess. Patrick Witt said the administration would keep talking with Democrats until just before the September vote, while warning delays cannot last indefinitely.
