Hecto Financial signs MOU with t54 on AI agent payment risk management

Hecto Financial signed a memorandum of understanding with global fintech company t54 to cooperate on technology in AI agent payments. The two companies will review ways to link Hecto Financial\'s payment and settlement infrastructure with t54\'s transaction risk management technology. They plan to apply a Know Your Agent function to Hecto Financial\'s AI payment platform and discuss evaluating whether agent-requested transactions match user intent before execution.

XRPL expands AI agent payment network; cumulative total tops 13 million

XRP Ledger’s x402-based agentic payments have topped 13.41 million in cumulative transactions. RippleX engineering head J. Ayo Akinyele posted the latest figures on X, saying the total could reach 100 million sooner than the XRP community expects if the current trend continues. Data account t54 put the total at 13,417,943, with a seven-day daily average of 216,145. Active agents, x402 merchants and payable services also increased.

Korea Fintech Industry Association, XRPL Korea to support commercialisation of digital asset businesses

The Korea Fintech Industry Association said it signed an agreement with XRPL Korea on Aug. 20 to help domestic fintech firms identify and commercialise new digital asset-based businesses. The two plan joint programmes focused on payments, remittances and settlement, stablecoins, tokenisation of real-world assets and digital asset financial infrastructure. They will support idea verification, proof-of-concept work and service implementation, and may link follow-up cooperation with global XRPL networks and financial institutions.
