Toss Bank expands digital braille service across loans, deposits and cards
Toss Bank has expanded the scope of its digital braille service for visually impaired customers to cover lending, deposit and card services. The bank said the service, first applied to passbook copies in April, now extends to major certificates issued across those areas. It said it is the first internet-only bank to introduce a digital braille service. The bank developed its own conversion logic and solution after customer requests.

ECB to boost accessibility of digital euro app above EU legal standards
The European Central Bank said it will design its planned digital euro app to a higher standard than European Union accessibility requirements. The app will be one of several ways users can access basic digital euro services. The design includes improved visual elements, full keyboard navigation, screen reader support, timeout warnings, plain language, error prevention and reduced-motion settings. The ECB said the app will exceed the requirements of the European Accessibility Act.

LG Electronics unveils accessibility-enhanced kiosk
LG Electronics unveiled an accessibility-focused kiosk for the first time at CSUN AT 2026 in Anaheim, the world’s largest assistive technology event. It showcased accessibility products and solutions for people with disabilities and seniors, including a kiosk co-developed with Dot featuring braille, sign-language guidance and screen reader functions. The company also introduced IoT sensors linked to ThinQ ON and accessibility features for appliances and TVs.
