Tesla drops Cybertruck launch plans in Australia and New Zealand, refunds all deposits after 7 years

Tesla has officially withdrawn plans to launch its Cybertruck electric pickup in Australia and New Zealand, cancelling all existing reservations. The company emailed customers to inform them their orders were cancelled because production plans for those markets were halted, and said deposits would be fully refunded within 30 days. Reservations in Australia had been available since November 2019 with a A$150 deposit. The move comes after Tesla reported its 2026 third-quarter results.

Korea\'s three mobile carriers launch Apple\'s iPhone Duo, begin activating preorders

Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, was officially launched in South Korea on Oct. 23. The country’s three mobile carriers began activating devices for preorder customers and rolled out promotions such as plan discounts, trade-in programmes and subscription bundles. Preorder data showed strong demand for the Star White colour and 256GB models, with some online stores selling out initial allotments shortly after reservations opened.

Nexon starts pre-reservations for Tembbal: Overgeared server and character names

Nexon said on Tuesday it has begun advance reservations for server and character names for Tembbal: Overgeared, a new MMORPG being developed by Gray Games. Users can select a server and enter a character name on the official website. The game offers 19 servers, including 13 general servers and six creator servers. Two events are also running alongside the reservation period, which will continue until further notice.
