Musk says X to move toward open source after security review, disclose full code
Elon Musk said social media platform X will disclose its entire codebase as open source after completing a security vulnerability review. He also outlined plans to let external reviewers verify that the published code matches the code running on X servers. X previously released part of its “For You” recommendation algorithm on GitHub in May, but the disclosure was limited and excluded key elements such as training data and advertising systems.

Major OTT platforms step up short-form push as Disney+ launches TikTok-like feed
Disney+ is launching a TikTok- and Instagram Reels-like short-form video feed, Verts, for U.S. users on its mobile app, TechCrunch reported. The feed offers short edits of film and TV scenes, allowing users to browse, add titles to a wishlist or watch right away. Disney said it will expand Verts to include creator content and other storytelling formats. Disney and Netflix are strengthening short-form offerings to target mobile viewers.

JobKorea job offers top 12 million in 2025
JobKorea, an AI and data-based HR tech platform operated by WorkSphere, said on Tuesday it recorded more than 12 million job offers last year. The company said the figure for 2025 was up 31.3 percent from three years earlier. Small and midsized firms accounted for 62 percent of offers, followed by large companies at 24 percent and midsized enterprises at 13 percent. Average offers per person were 8.1.
