Hana Financial Group to back industrial park tenants with 50 billion won new growth fund
Hana Financial Group plans to create a 50 billion won fund to support technology innovation and shifts into new industries by companies located in industrial parks. It will also provide ESG management consulting, support for obtaining domestic and overseas certifications, export expansion and industrial park infrastructure investment. Hana Financial said it signed an agreement with three organisations to jointly 추진 a “K-Industrial Complex New Growth Project” aimed at innovative growth and regional economic revitalisation.

Shinhan Bank cuts Saehuimang Holssi loan rates, extends maturities to expand inclusive finance
Shinhan Bank will expand inclusive finance measures aimed at easing interest burdens for financially vulnerable groups. The bank will increase the preferential interest-rate discount for Saehuimang Holssi loans with installment repayments to 1.1 percentage points from 0.3 percentage points and extend the repayment period to as long as 84 months from 60 months. New loan rates can fall to the 4 percent range depending on customer conditions.

Hana Bank launches savings product offering up to 11 percent based on national team results
Hana Bank is reintroducing a savings product whose interest rate changes depending on the South Korean national football team’s results in an international tournament held in June. The bank said it launched the BEST 11 savings plan on June 1. The product is sold until June 24, limited to 30,000 accounts, with a six-month term and monthly deposits of 10,000 to 200,000 won. The maximum rate is 11 percent a year.
