KakaoPay Insurance surpasses 10 million cumulative subscribers in 4 years
KakaoPay Insurance said its cumulative subscriber total exceeded 10 million four years after its launch. It added 4 million subscribers in a year after reaching 6 million last year. The company said repeat use by existing customers continued, with a 70 percent re-subscription rate for its overseas travel insurance. More than half of users bought its products at least twice, it said.

Hana Financial expands Hana Money platform to broaden everyday finance services
Hana Financial Group said three companies, including Hana Insurance, Finc and GLN International, have newly joined its flagship everyday finance platform Hana Money. With the additions, the app expands beyond point accumulation and Travelog free currency exchange to offer services such as currency exchange, payments, investment, insurance and asset management. The group expects stronger service links and synergy as participating affiliates rise to nine.

Naver Pay runs Lunar New Year overseas payment, travel insurance promotions
Naver Pay said on Thursday it will run promotions offering benefits to users traveling overseas during the Lunar New Year holiday. The company extended a promotion that returns 10 percent of eligible overseas payment spending as points through June, with a higher cap for users of its overseas travel insurance comparison service. It is also running multiple overseas QR payment events through March, including random point rewards, a lucky draw, roaming discounts for KT users and instant discounts at certain partner merchants.
