Hana Financial Group said three companies, including Hana Insurance, Finc and GLN International, have newly joined the group’s flagship everyday finance platform, Hana Money.

With the additions, Hana Money has expanded its functions into an integrated financial platform covering customers’ daily lives, beyond existing core features such as point accumulation and Travelog’s free currency exchange. Users can access closely related everyday financial services — including currency exchange, payments, investment, insurance and asset management — in a single app.

Hana Insurance’s participation has also strengthened the lineup of insurance products. Users can easily sign up for products linked to daily life, including overseas travel insurance, golf insurance and one-day driver and auto insurance, along with event benefits such as “accumulating insurance money.”

Finc’s addition also brought a loan comparison service and a comparison and recommendation function for online investment-linked finance products designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission. This enables users to compare and choose a range of loan and investment products on a single platform.

GLN International provides global QR payments and cash withdrawal services, improving convenience for overseas use. Combined with Travelog’s free currency exchange benefits for 58 currencies, smartphone-based simple payments are expected to become available abroad as well.

Hana Money previously included six affiliates: Hana Bank, Hana Securities, Hana Card, Hana Capital, Hana Life and Hana Savings Bank. With three more companies added, a total of nine affiliates will participate, and the group expects stronger service links and synergy within the group.

A Hana Financial Group official said Hana Money has grown into an everyday finance platform through continuous innovation since its launch. The official said the group will further develop it into a platform covering customers’ financial journeys, including currency exchange, insurance, payments and investment, based on synergy among the nine affiliates.
