Suho I-O, Cross ENF team up to improve cross-border remittance infrastructure

Financial infrastructure company Suho I-O said on Thursday it will work with small-value overseas remittance fintech Cross ENF to build a global remittance network and advance payment systems. Suho I-O plans to combine its Ezys payment and settlement infrastructure solution with Cross ENF\'s remittance expertise to minimise operational inefficiencies such as weekend and holiday waiting times and the burden of deposits. The two companies will review payment-layer linkage options with stability as the top priority.

Hana Financial, Dunamu and POSCO International to cooperate on blockchain overseas remittances

Hana Financial Group, Dunamu and POSCO International signed a three-way memorandum of understanding on April 29 to develop an overseas remittance service by combining finance, industry and digital assets. The partners aim to develop a blockchain-based real-time overseas remittance service and verify its effectiveness in an environment where funds actually move. They plan cooperation on building the service, improving efficiency in global cash management and payments, and identifying digital finance business opportunities.

K Bank joins hands with Ripple to start verifying blockchain remittances

K Bank is working with global blockchain company Ripple to verify overseas remittance technology. The bank said on April 27 it has signed a strategic partnership with Ripple and is conducting a blockchain-based remittance proof of concept. The partners plan to test whether Ripple’s global network and blockchain infrastructure can improve remittance speed, cost and transparency. The verification is proceeding in stages, including tests of on-chain transfers to the UAE and Thailand.
