NC files complaint against YouTuber Yeongraegi over alleged false claims about Lineage Classic
NC said on Tuesday it filed a complaint with Seoul’s Gangnam Police Station against the operator of the YouTube channel Yeongraegi, alleging dissemination of false information and obstruction of business. The YouTuber claimed Lineage Classic left illegal program users unchecked while penalising regular users who reported them. NC said analysis and expert review confirmed the claims were false. It added false information was harming the company and users and undermining trust in its reporting system.

Major South Korean game companies are mobilising AI detection, criminal complaints and user clean campaigns to eradicate illegal programs known as hacks, but results remain limited. As countermeasures become more advanced, illegal tools also grow more sophisticated, and gaps in current laws are cited as a structural constraint. KT union files police complaint against outside director Lee Seung-hoon over misconduct allegations
KT\'s labour union said on March 17 it filed a complaint with investigators against outside director Lee Seung-hoon over alleged misconduct, citing the need to restore board transparency and normalise corporate governance. The union said it submitted the complaint to Seoul Jongno Police Station on March 16 on suspicion of obstruction of business and breach of trust, or attempted breach of trust. It also cited allegations of undue influence over personnel matters and pressure to invest in Germany-based satellite firm Rivada.
