LG Electronics wins two top awards at North America\'s largest display show

LG Electronics said it won top product awards at Infocomm 2026, North America\'s largest display exhibition, which opened on June 17 in Las Vegas. The company said its micro LED signage product LG MAGNIT was named a Best of Show winner in the Installation and Digital Signage categories. It was also listed as the most innovative digital signage product by AV outlet SCN. LG also showcased display and software solutions for various installation environments.

Leak suggests design, price and specs of Samsung\'s first smart glasses

Images and key specifications believed to be of Samsung Electronics\' first smart glasses have been leaked. Foreign media reports said the product closely resembles Meta\'s Ray-Ban smart glasses and may launch without a display, focusing on camera and audio. The model, codenamed Jinju, is rumored to cost $379 to $499. A higher-end successor, Haean, is said to include a micro LED display and be priced at $600 to $900.

Samsung Electronics vice chairman vows to lead AI transition to reach 1,000 trillion won market value

Samsung Electronics held its 57th annual general meeting of shareholders on Tuesday in Suwon and unveiled its 2026 AI business direction. Vice Chairman Jun Young-hyun, who chaired the meeting, said the company posted record annual revenue of 333.6 trillion won last year and its market value topped 1,000 trillion won. He said Samsung will continue investment and R&D spending and plans regular and additional dividends for 2025.
