Woori Bank will provide financial support to small and mid-sized companies pursuing greenhouse gas reductions. The bank said it signed a business agreement on June 25 with the Korea Technology Finance Corp and NH NongHyup Bank on an interest-subsidy support guarantee under green policy finance. Under the deal, KODIT will issue credit guarantee certificates based on assessments and screening results. Eligible firms may receive differentiated interest support, preferential rates and support for guarantee fees.

KakaoBank will provide interest support to ease financing burdens for homebuyers. The bank said on March 16 it will support up to 200,000 won in interest for customers who take out an Akkim-e Bogeumjari loan through KakaoBank in April and May. The product is a policy mortgage handled by the Korea Housing Finance Corporation and is available under income and home price caps, with preferential rates for eligible groups.
