Hana Financial\'s Cheongna headquarters brings finance, digital and AI under one roof
Hana Financial Group has begun moving into its Cheongna headquarters in Incheon, bringing affiliates together and linking the site with a nearby integrated data centre. The group plans a phased relocation through November, with about 2,200 staff joining the Cheongna workforce to total about 4,000. The headquarters emphasises collaboration through open floor plans, internal stairways and a 5G wireless work environment. The data centre operates group security monitoring and is expanding AI capabilities, including a planned second facility.

LG Electronics cooling distribution unit wins Nvidia quality certification, first in Korea
LG Electronics said it has obtained final quality certification from Nvidia for its 600-kW coolant distribution unit (CDU) for AI data centres, the first South Korean company to do so. The CDU circulates coolant to cold plates attached to GPUs and CPUs to absorb heat. The company said it will expand Nvidia certification across higher-capacity CDU models and broaden its data-centre thermal management portfolio from chillers to cold plates.

KT says end-to-end AX capabilities will support shift to smart defence and military service administration
KT said it is stepping up support for digital transformation in military service administration and defence. It said officials from the Military Manpower Administration recently visited KT’s Innovation Hub in Seoul to discuss applying AI transformation technologies. The two sides reviewed end-to-end AX cases verified in industry and shared plans to upgrade services using AI and to operate stable communications infrastructure. KT said defence work requires high security, complex procedures and large-scale data processing.
