Shinhan Bank launches refund service for overpaid employment, industrial accident insurance premiums
Shinhan Bank said on Thursday it opened a service for sole proprietors to check and apply for refunds of overpaid employment and industrial accident insurance premiums. The bank said the service supports cases where premiums were overpaid after reporting total remuneration, changes in worker eligibility, or premium rate adjustments, as well as mistaken duplicate payments. It is available through Shinhan SOL Bank and covers overpayments made within the past three years.

Tmax Tibero migrates Kcomwel employment and industrial accident insurance total service to cloud
Tmax Tibero said on Tuesday it has completed a cloud-native conversion project for the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service’s employment and industrial accident insurance total service system. The company said the project fully redesigned a large administrative system used by an average of more than 2.5 million people per month from an on-premises setup to an NHN Cloud-based cloud-native environment. It also upgraded the core DBMS to Tibero 7.
