Sh Suhyup Bank adopts AI-based system to verify copies of identification cards
Sh Suhyup Bank will introduce an AI-based system to determine whether copies of identification cards are authentic at all of its branches. The bank aims to strengthen identity verification procedures at in-person counters in response to increasingly sophisticated ID forgery and alteration crimes. The system uses patent-based image preprocessing technology and an AI model to analyse unique ID characteristics and noise patterns, lighting conditions and shooting angles.
