KB Financial Group has narrowed its shortlist for next chairman to six candidates, including incumbent Yang Jong-hee (양종희), as it begins the selection process amid delays in regulators’ governance reform plan for financial holding firms. The shortlist includes four internal and two external candidates, with one external candidate unnamed at their request. The committee plans interviews and further narrowing through September, with the final pick expected to be appointed at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in November.

Mobigen held its 2026 Media Day on July 2 and unveiled Graphio 2.0, a dynamic ontology-based data and AI app platform. The company said the platform connects diverse corporate data into a single work environment and helps AI understand and use data. Chief Executive Kim Tae-su (김태수) said competitiveness in the AI era depends on effective use of trusted data, not AI models themselves. Mobigen said it is expanding vertically in defence, energy and plant engineering, AI operating systems and the public sector.
