KT revamps Voyage Festival with performances by god, Heize and Park Hye-won

KT is revamping its customer culture festival as the KT Voyage Festival, marking the event’s 10th anniversary. The company will hold the 2026 festival on Oct. 24 at Bundang Central Park in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. KT said about 300,000 customers took part over the past decade. This year’s lineup includes god, Heize and Park Hye-won (HYNN). Invitations will be allocated by lottery, with applications open Sept. 22 to Oct. 5.

Gstar organising committee unveils second lineup for G-CON 2026 with narrative and AI in focus

The Gstar organising committee on Sept. 14 unveiled the second round of speakers and sessions for G-CON 2026, to be held in November. The event will focus on narrative and AI, bringing in creators not only from games but also film, drama and webtoons to discuss storytelling and creative methods. The added lineup includes sessions on game writing, art and action RPG design, and talks comparing character design across games and drama.

Crit Ventures makes follow-on investment in \'Zeus: God of Arrogance\' developer Avertone

Venture capital firm Crit Ventures has made a follow-on investment in Avertone, the developer of the MMORPG \"Zeus: God of Arrogance\". The firm said on Thursday it executed the investment through a project fund of about 6 billion won formed for investing in Avertone. It is the second investment following an initial one in 2024. Avertone was founded by CEO Kim Dae-hwan, who previously oversaw development of titles including Nexon’s \"Prasia War\" and \"Dave the Diver\".
