Kakao Games said on Aug. 26 that its subsidiary Ocean Drive Studio will exhibit its new title 'God Save Birmingham' at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, and has released a new trailer.

Ocean Drive Studio will begin demonstrating 'God Save Birmingham' to industry participants at Hall 2 of Gamescom on that day and will operate a business-to-business (B2B) booth. The company previously participated in the event in 2024 and 2025.

It also first unveiled a new trailer on Aug. 21 featuring the game's co-operative (co-op) mode. The video includes a co-op play feature in which users progress through survival and combat.

Kakao Games plans to run a core group test focused on the co-op mode for users who have participated in testing from the pre-alpha and alpha stages. It will then recruit participants via its Steam page and expand the beta test.

Ocean Drive Studio plans to take part in PAX West, a game exhibition to be held in Seattle, the United States, from Sept. 4 to 7, to showcase the game.

'God Save Birmingham' is a medieval zombie survival genre title. Based on Unreal Engine 5, it implements graphics, physics effects and a combat system that uses surrounding objects.
