LG Electronics wins commercial display order for Frankfurt Airport new terminal
LG Electronics said on May 14 it supplied large LED signage to the new terminal at Frankfurt Airport in Germany, described as Europe’s largest aviation hub. The company installed 115 square metres of LED signage at the central Market Place area of Terminal 3, which opened in late April. LG Electronics said the signage meets European fire safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards and is designed to slow fire spread.

South Korea hosts international standards meeting on future vehicle EMC in Seoul
South Korea\'s National Radio Research Agency and the Telecommunications Technology Association will co-host an international meeting in Seoul from March 4 to 12 on electromagnetic compatibility for future vehicles. About 70 experts from 12 countries will focus on standardising evaluation methods for electric and autonomous vehicles. Discussions will cover reverberation chamber standards, sensor-focused immunity evaluation, virtual simulation and EMI limits. South Korea submitted 5 papers to reflect its technologies in international standards.

Kim Seung-yeon says space is Hanwha mission as he visits Jeju center
Hanwha Group Chairman Kim Seung-yeon visited Hanwha Systems\' Jeju Space Center and inspected facilities including space environment and electromagnetic tests, the company said. He reviewed this year\'s business plan and the status of its space business. Kim said Hanwha has become a leading private player after the Nuri rocket\'s fourth launch and lunar projects. Hanwha said the center can produce up to 8 satellites a month and as many as 100 a year.
