ISA subscribers top 10 million after 10 years, 5 months, becoming a nationwide tax-saving account
Subscribers to South Korea\'s Individual Savings Account (ISA) topped 10 million for the first time 10 years and five months after its launch, the Korea Financial Investment Association said on Sept. 29. As of end-August, subscribers stood at 10.05 million and subscribed amount totalled 76.5 trillion won. Brokerage-type ISAs accounted for 89.3 percent of subscribers, while trust-type and discretionary management accounts declined. The share of subscribers in their 20s and 30s rose to 41.1 percent.

Encore builds IBK Industrial Bank of Korea data portal to support data-driven decision-making
Encore, an AI and data specialist, said on Sunday it has built a data portal for IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to support data-driven decision-making and the use of AI. The company said the system is designed around one-click data access, one-stop analysis and sharing insights, and enables all employees to use data. It aims to create a cycle of data creation, use and sharing, allowing analysis assets to accumulate.

Upbit ranks No. 1 globally in Polygon staking, surpassing Binance and Coinbase
Upbit has taken the top spot globally by participation size in Polygon staking, beating major overseas exchanges, the operator Dunamu said on Tuesday. Data from staking information portal Validator Info show Upbit staking ranked highest among 102 active validators participating in the Polygon network. Upbit added Polygon to its staking service in October 2023. As of June 23, users staked 413,173,181 POL via Upbit.
