Robots can replace 74 percent of manual labor, but are not yet cheaper than humans
Robots can technically perform much of the manual labor done by humans, but only a small share can be replaced at lower cost, an analysis showed. Anthropic analyzed about 900 occupations and 19,000 tasks, classifying robot capability into four levels based on workplace environment. While robots could handle about 74 percent of manual labor tasks in technical terms, only 0.3 percent of all work was cheaper than human labor. Falling robot prices could raise that share over time.

AI-written marketing emails can undermine trust for 40 percent of consumers
Use of AI in email marketing is spreading quickly, but automating even relationship-focused messages can reduce trust, a report said. In a Litmus survey cited by TechRadar, 28 percent of marketers deeply integrated AI into email work and 34 percent used it regularly, while 5 percent did not use it. A separate survey found 40 percent of U.S. consumers may trust retailer emails less if written by AI.
