Shinhan Bank is strengthening M&A and business succession advisory services for small and mid-sized companies, aiming to meet rising succession demand driven by ageing and lack of successors. The bank said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Samjong KPMG at its Shinhan PWM Yeouido Center in Seoul. Shinhan Bank plans to identify clients with succession and M&A needs and link acquisition finance with asset management, while Samjong KPMG will provide valuation and accounting and tax advice.

NHN Cloud has started operating an AI-only data centre in Yangpyeong-dong, Seoul, after completing infrastructure with 7,656 Nvidia B200 GPUs, it said on Tuesday. The project was 추진 under a Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA programme. NHN Cloud was selected as the largest operator, responsible for more than 1 trillion won of a 1.46 trillion won budget. The infrastructure will be managed as a national asset and allocated under government policy.
