LG Electronics uses volunteer leave to help neighbours ahead of Lunar New Year
LG Electronics said its employee volunteer group visited the Yeomni Day Care Center for People with Disabilities in Mapo district, Seoul, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday. Employees took part using a weekday volunteer leave scheme that allows up to 8 hours a year. The activity was funded by donations from an employee programme tied to simplified cafeteria menus, with 500 won saved per selection.
