Yamaha new electric scooter leaks with completely different design
Signs have emerged that Yamaha is preparing to launch a new electric scooter. A near-production model appeared in Japanese design registration documents, first reported by AMCN and cited by Electrek. The scooter appears to be a 125cc-class model with proportions similar to Yamaha\'s RayZR 125. It may use a mid-mounted motor driving the rear wheel by belt, an under-seat battery pack, and an unusual rear suspension layout.
