RLUSD gains presence on XRPL as supply hits 52 percent and trading pair reaches $900 million

About 52 percent of Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD supply has moved to the XRP Ledger, crossing the halfway mark for the first time. On-chain data released by Evernode show the share on XRPL has risen from 17 percent in April 2025. RLUSD held on Ethereum has fallen from about $1.24 billion in February 2025 to about $700 million, leaving Ethereum with 48 percent. Evernode said RLUSD growth on XRPL is also lifting trading activity.

XRPL lending infrastructure may let XRP holders borrow without selling

A planned lending infrastructure on the XRP Ledger could allow XRP holders to borrow funds using their tokens as collateral without selling, an analysis said. XRP analyst James Dooly said Coinbase’s XRP-backed loans, a government-guaranteed crypto mortgage structure and proposed XRPL lending functions could create a new model for long-term holders. He outlined a hypothetical example using USDC borrowing and possible interest income from depositing unused XRP, while noting key XRPL functions remain at the proposal stage.

XRP on-chain activity surges despite price slump; can ETF demand spark rebound?

XRP is drawing market attention for a possible short-term rebound as on-chain activity rises despite weak prices. The XRP Ledger added 4,941 new addresses in a day, the strongest user inflow in 14 weeks. XRP fell 22 percent in June, its biggest monthly drop since February 2025. Social-media sentiment turned more positive, while daily active addresses rose 36 percent. Spot XRP ETF flows were net positive in June, contrasting with outflows from bitcoin and ether spot ETFs.
