Nam Gi-cheon joins \'Life-saving Finance\' campaign

Nam Gi-cheon (남기천), CEO of Won Investment Securities, joined the \'Life-saving Finance\' campaign aimed at preventing harm from illegal private lending and protecting financially vulnerable groups. Won Investment Securities said Nam took part after being nominated by Jin Sung-won (진성원), CEO of Woori Card, and joined the campaign with Hana Card CEO Sung Young-soo (성영수). The campaign began in July under the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency.

BNK Financial posts 2025 net profit of 815.0 billion won, up 11.9 percent

BNK Financial Group said its 2025 consolidated net profit attributable to owners rose 11.9 percent from a year earlier to 815.0 billion won. The group attributed the increase to higher non-interest income and lower credit loss provisions. Bank unit profit rose to 732.1 billion won and non-bank profit to 188.1 billion won. Asset quality and capital ratios improved, and the board approved a cash dividend of 735 won per share.
