TMap launches walking navigation with auto screen rotation
TMap Mobility launched a walking route guidance service that automatically adjusts the screen to match a user’s direction of travel, the company said on Sunday. The service is designed to let pedestrians follow the display in the way drivers use in-car navigation. It alerts users in advance when they need to turn a corner and offers a new optimal route in real time if they deviate. The feature also links to place recommendations and trip logging services.

Early look at \'Subnautica 2\'... Krafton says survival is a means, exploration is core
Unknown Worlds, a Krafton unit, launched \'Subnautica 2\' in early access on May 15. Lead designer Anthony Gallegos (앤서니 가예고스) and creative media producer Scott MacDonald (스콧 맥도날드) earlier outlined a development philosophy centered on exploration, with survival as a tool. The game moves to an undisclosed new alien planet and is being built on Unreal Engine 5. It adds base-building changes, a new vehicle and four-player co-op with crossplay between Xbox and PC. Early access is planned for 2 to 3 years.

TMAP overhauls home screen to strengthen map-based place search
Tmap Mobility has redesigned the TMAP app’s home screen by placing the map across the full screen and reorganising key service menus by category, it said on April 21. Users can now pull down the content area to use the map on the entire mobile display, with a search bar at the top. The app doubles automatically displayed place names, standardises place icons and shows detailed place information in one view.
