Netmarble steps up push for 3 trillion won revenue on new game launches and fee tailwind
Netmarble is launching four new games in March and April, widening its lineup from mobile MMORPGs to open-world, action and idle RPGs while expanding to console and PC. The company is also preparing to extend service in Korea and parts of Asia for another title. After posting record annual revenue in 2025, it is aiming for 3 trillion won in sales in 2026. YouTube\'s 2025 ad revenue tops combined Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros
YouTube recorded $40.4 billion in advertising revenue in 2025, surpassing the combined $37.8 billion earned by major Hollywood studios including Disney, NBCUniversal, Paramount and Warner Bros Discovery, TechCrunch reported. In 2024, YouTube’s ad revenue of $36.1 billion trailed the studios’ $41.8 billion, but the situation reversed last year. Alphabet said YouTube’s total revenue reached $60 billion, with non-ad revenue coming from subscription services.

Webtoon Entertainment 2025 revenue nears 2 trillion won, operating loss down 37 percent
Webtoon Entertainment said on Monday it posted revenue growth for a third straight year and recorded positive adjusted EBITDA for a third consecutive year. Full-year 2025 revenue rose 2.5 percent to $1.38 billion, it said. Adjusted EBITDA was $19.4 million and the operating loss narrowed 36.9 percent to $63.5 million. Fourth-quarter revenue fell 6.3 percent, while adjusted EBITDA turned positive. The company forecast first-quarter revenue to be down 1.5 percent to up 1.5 percent on a constant-currency basis.
