Hanyang University student startup teams visit CES 2026
Hanyang University’s startup support group said it visited CES 2026 in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9 with three teams that won a campus venture startup competition. The visit was part of a global startup development program. Students reviewed major exhibition areas such as AI, smart mobility, healthcare, robotics and sustainable technology, and attended product demos and pitching sessions. The university also operated a 12-booth exhibition space at the Venetian Expo.

SK Hynix to unveil HBM4 16-high 48GB at CES for first time
SK Hynix will unveil its HBM4 16-high 48GB product for the first time at CES 2026, held in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9 local time. The company will run only a customer exhibition space, without a joint SK Group booth. It will also showcase HBM3E and display a global customer’s latest AI server GPU module using the memory. Other exhibits include SOCAMM2, LPDDR6 and a 321-layer 2Tb QLC NAND product for high-capacity eSSD.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to attend CES 2026, run only solo booth among banks
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea said it will participate in CES 2026 in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9 local time and operate a solo booth, the only domestic bank to do so. At its IBK Innovation Hall in Eureka Park, it will present a new technology evaluation system, a K-content investment process and an ESG precision diagnosis system. It will also provide space for startups and run demonstration programs.
