Veeam launches DataAI Command Platform for trusted AI agent infrastructure
Data protection company Veeam on May 12 unveiled its DataAI Command Platform at its annual VeeamON 2026 event. CEO Anand Eswaran (아난드 에스와란) said there is infrastructure to deploy AI but none to verify and control it, and that the platform builds a layer combining resilience, security, governance, compliance and privacy. The company said large enterprises have 82 times more AI agents than employees, with 97 percent holding excessive privileges.

HPE expands hybrid cloud for AI workloads with unified management of VMs and Kubernetes
Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced private cloud, storage and cyber resilience offerings aimed at supporting AI workloads. The fourth-generation HPE Private Cloud uses HPE Morpheus software to manage virtual machines and Kubernetes containers through a single interface. It adds support for the latest HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers and integrates Veeam backup and recovery software and the HPE Zerto disaster recovery platform. HPE also added file storage support to its Alletra Storage MP X10000 platform and updated Zerto Software 10.9.
