Line Games appoints Cho Dong-hyun and Bae Young-jin as co-CEOs to boost global business competitiveness
Line Games said on Thursday it appointed Cho Dong-hyun, its current chief executive, and former chief strategy officer Bae Young-jin as co-CEOs. The company plans to step up its multi-title strategy and increase the share of PC titles in global markets, unveiling at least three new PC games this year starting with \"Ember and Blade\". In mobile, it will proceed with a China launch of \"Uncharted Waters Origin\" and a global launch of \"The War of Genesis Mobile\".

Line Games narrows operating loss for second straight year, eyes turnaround with new titles and global push
Line Games said its 2025 sales fell as it had no new releases and existing live titles saw a natural decline, but it narrowed its operating loss for a second straight year through management efficiency and cost controls. Consolidated revenue fell to 33.5 billion won from 43.5 billion won, while the operating loss narrowed to 14.9 billion won. The company plans new PC titles and expanded global services in 2026.

Line Games to launch Uncharted Waters Origin in China on April 28
Line Games said on Tuesday it will officially launch the MMORPG Uncharted Waters Origin in China on April 28. The game is jointly developed by Motif and Koei Tecmo Games, and will be released locally as Uncharted Waters: Origin. Shengqu Games will handle publishing. More than 5 million users took part in a pre-registration campaign held last year, the company said.
