Binance to delist eight USDC margin trading pairs, trading ends Aug 21

Binance will delist eight USDC-based margin trading pairs on Aug. 21, local time, U.Today reported. The move affects certain cross-margin and isolated-margin pairs, requiring users to close positions and transfer assets before trading ends. Trading will stop at 0600 UTC, when positions will be closed and settled automatically and pending orders canceled. Binance has also blocked new transfers of the assets to isolated-margin accounts and will begin isolated-margin borrowing limits from Aug. 18.

Tesla Optimus key developer launches humanoid startup, lines up 50 potential customers

An engineer who worked on Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot has launched a new humanoid robotics startup in Europe, aiming to deploy general-purpose AI humanoids in manufacturing and logistics. Remi Cadene, co-founder and CEO of Paris-based UMA, unveiled plans for its Northstar robot and said the company is discussing adoption with about 50 potential customers. UMA plans to start industrial pilot programs this year and prioritise Europe.

DCG-backed Uma launches Bittensor investment fund for institutions

Uma, backed by Digital Currency Group, has launched an institutional investment product called the Uma Total Market Fund. The fund offers exposure in one vehicle to Bittensor’s native token TAO and AI-focused subnets, allowing institutions to invest across the Bittensor ecosystem without selecting individual subnet tokens. Uma said the combined value of 128 subnets exceeds $900 million. Interest and related products tied to TAO are also expanding among asset managers.
