Tmap Mobility Q1 revenue 62.2 billion won, up 4.3 percent on year
Tmap Mobility said on May 14 it posted first-quarter revenue of 62.2 billion won, up 4.3 percent from a year earlier. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation improved by 1.7 billion won from a year earlier. The company said expanding businesses centred on mobility data and AI helped improve profitability. Growth was led by mobility data and solutions, while TMAP AUTO and API and data businesses also rose.

Mobility platforms return to profitability amid intensifying margin battle
South Korea’s three mobility platforms improved profitability last year, led by Socar’s operating profit of 23.2 billion won and TMAP Mobility’s first annual net profit of 23.3 billion won. Kakao Mobility also raised profitability by close to 20 percent. The companies cut or reshuffled non-core operations and expanded data- and AI-based revenue models. Each is now focusing on core strengths, including car sharing, data expansion and physical AI and autonomous driving.

Tmap Mobility posts 23.3 billion won net profit in 2025, up 100.7 billion won
Tmap Mobility said on Feb. 24 it posted 4.4 billion won in EBITDA and 23.3 billion won in net profit for 2025, the first time both measures turned positive. EBITDA rose by 29.9 billion won and net profit by 100.7 billion won from a year earlier, reflecting losses from discontinued businesses. The company ended e-scooter services, sold a corporate chauffeur-driving unit and disposed of its entire stake in Carrot General Insurance.
