Epic Games brings Fortnite back to Apple App Store as legal fight continues
Epic Games has restored its flagship title Fortnite to Apple’s App Store worldwide except Australia, allowing play on iPhones and iPads. Paul Grewal (폴 그레월), Coinbase\'s chief legal officer, said he is confident the CLARITY bill will pass by the end of this summer and voiced support for a Tillis-Alsobrooks compromise on stablecoin rewards. The proposal would allow activity-based rewards tied to platform use while limiting yield paid purely on idle balances. Grewal urged banks to accept the deal and rejected claims that balance-based rewards would trigger deposit outflows, saying there was no evidence.

New York state filed a lawsuit against cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbase and Gemini over prediction-market contracts. The state alleges the products, tied to sports, entertainment and elections, are unlicensed gambling that violates state law. Attorney General Letitia James said renaming gambling does not change its nature and cannot evade regulation. The complaint says the services functioned like bookmakers and allowed participation by users under 21.
