Toss, Hana Bank launch \'Hana Pedometer Savings\' season 2 with 20,000-account cap
Toss and Hana Bank launched season 2 of the \'Hana Pedometer Savings\' product on Aug. 28, offering preferential interest rates based on users\' step counts. The sales limit has been expanded to 20,000 accounts after season 1, launched last month, sold out its 10,000-account quota in 13 days. The 100-day flexible deposit product is open to individuals and sole proprietors aged 19 and older, with a top rate of 4.5 percent including bonuses.

Hana Bank launches Hana Step Counter savings with Toss, offers up to 4.5 percent
Hana Bank has launched the “Hana Step Counter Savings” product with Toss, offering preferential interest rates based on users’ cumulative step counts. The bank said it will sell up to 10,000 accounts to users of the step-counter service within the Toss app. The 100-day installment savings product allows daily deposits of up to 30,000 won in 1-won units. The base rate is 1.0 percent a year, with additional rates raising the maximum to 4.5 percent a year.

Toss to roll out Face Pay at Hyundai specialist Bluehands shops
Viva Republica, which operates Toss, is expanding its offline payment touchpoints into repeat-visit daily services such as auto maintenance to speed up the rollout of Face Pay. Toss said on May 28 it signed an MOU with the Hyundai Maintenance Franchise Cooperative Federation to introduce Face Pay at Hyundai specialist Bluehands shops nationwide. The partners plan phased expansion, joint marketing and customer benefits including Toss Points.
