Daum revives real-time search terms, restores four-color logo, overhauls home screen

Daum has revived real-time search terms after 6 years, restored its four-color logo and fully revamped its home screen. The changes come as Upstage is pursuing an acquisition. Daum\'s search share is 2.6 percent by InternetTrend and 1.56 percent by StatCounter, ranking fourth behind Naver, Google and Microsoft Bing. AXZ opened a real-time trends beta on March 3 and added measures to curb manipulation.

AXZ to revamp Daum portal with logo change and real-time trends

AXZ will implement three major service updates to its Daum portal: a logo change, a new real-time trends beta service and expanded home-tab widgets. The logo will return from a monochrome user interface to a four-colour design. Daum will launch real-time trends by combining technologies used in Today Bubble and AI Issue Briefing, while ending AI Issue Briefing and folding its functions into the new service. New widgets and feed slots will also be added.
