MeetingTV sues Palo Alto Networks\' Koi Security over allegedly false AI report
Video conferencing startup MeetingTV has filed a lawsuit against Koi Security, a security company under Palo Alto Networks, alleging a threat report written using AI contained false information. Koi said in a blog post on Dec. 30 last year that MeetingTV was core infrastructure for a Chinese cybercrime group and linked its ZoomCoder product to large-scale malware distribution and corporate espionage, the lawsuit said.

Meta develops \'Vistara\' chip technology to reuse memory from older servers
Meta has developed a technology called Vistara that removes DDR4 memory from older servers and installs it in new servers, using its own CXL chip to share memory between applications without latency problems, The Register reported. A Meta paper said about 40% of its servers, or millions of machines, cannot expand memory. Meta said the approach cut incidents of work stopping due to memory shortages by 33%.

AWS launches Lambda microVM, supports running isolated containers for up to 8 hours
AWS has added microVM capability to its serverless platform Lambda, based on its lightweight virtual machine technology Firecracker. The feature extends Lambda\'s execution limit from 15 minutes to up to 8 hours and lets developers upload Dockerfiles and application files to Amazon S3 for conversion into Firecracker snapshots. AWS said the feature can support isolated code execution for security checks and AI safety use cases, with usage-based per-second pricing.
