TeraWulf secures data centre site to expand AI and HPC in U.S. Kentucky
Bitcoin mining company TeraWulf has acquired a data centre development site in Kentucky and is accelerating an expansion into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. The site is designed to support more than 1 gigawatt of AI and HPC capacity over the long term. TeraWulf plans to operate 500 megawatts by 2028 and secure another 500 MW by 2030. The site includes grid infrastructure planning and long-term power contracts.

Terawulf says Q1 HPC revenue tops bitcoin mining revenue for first time
Terawulf\'s high-performance computing business revenue exceeded its bitcoin mining revenue for the first time in the first quarter. The Block reported that Terawulf posted $21 million in first-quarter HPC leasing revenue, ahead of the digital assets segment, which was below $13 million. Total revenue was $34 million, broadly in line with a year earlier. Net loss widened to $427.6 million, with nearly half tied to non-cash warrant revaluation.
