AI use in games expands beyond dev tools to live services as policy support grows
As AI use in the game industry expands from development tools to live services, the South Korean government is moving to expand support and refine systems. At a policy seminar in Seoul, NC AI and Krafton presented AI applications in game creation and live operations, including asset tools, lipsync, esports forecasting, anti-cheat and an AI companion. The Culture Ministry outlined funding plans and work on a draft AI content promotion law.

Perplexity mulls entering AI coding race with in-house tool Teammate - report
Perplexity is running an internal AI coding tool under the codename Teammate as it weighs a possible move into the developer tools market, Business Insider reported. The company has not decided whether or when to release it externally. Screens show the tool being used to find bugs and manage software projects end to end, rather than simply generate code. Perplexity engineers have used it since May, the report said.

Anthropic is adding Claude features to Salesforce\'s Slack, while Microsoft is developing a way to use Claude in Teams. Both companies have their own AI agent lineups but are pursuing app store-style platform strategies that let customers choose external agents. Anthropic\'s Claude Tag for Slack lets users summon Claude in group chats to review communications and handle tasks. Some inside and outside Salesforce question opening Slack to Claude, while others see potential benefits.
