Tata Electronics admits data breach after 630GB of files posted on hacker forum
Indian electronics and semiconductor company Tata Electronics, a key supplier to Apple and Tesla, has formally acknowledged a data leak after 630GB of internal materials appeared on a hacker forum. Tata Electronics said it detected a cybersecurity incident in some systems and activated response procedures, adding operations were unaffected. Security researchers said sample files included Apple supply-chain specifications and apparent Tesla manufacturing documents, but the authenticity and full scope were not independently verified.
