China\'s AI agents point to the future of commerce
Agent commerce, in which AI agents search for products and complete payments on behalf of users, is spreading rapidly in China and is pushing global companies to change strategy, an analysis found. Harvard Business Review cited examples including Meituan’s Xiaomei, Alibaba’s Qwen Agent and Ant Group’s AQ Health app. HBR said China’s payment and identity infrastructure, logistics, super-app ecosystems and consumer acceptance are key drivers.

Alibaba launches enterprise agentic AI Wukong, to integrate with Slack and Teams
Alibaba has unveiled a new agentic AI platform for enterprise customers called Wukong, CNBC reported on March 17. The platform lets companies manage multiple AI agents through a single interface and includes enterprise-grade security features. It supports automation of tasks such as document editing, approvals, meeting minutes and research. Wukong is currently available as an invitation-only test version.
