SKT launches roaming promotion ahead of holiday and summer vacation season

SK Telecom is running a roaming promotion to coincide with a holiday period and the summer vacation season. From April 23 to Aug. 21, customers who sign up for eligible baro and baro YT plans will receive up to an additional 16GB of data at the same price and can keep using data at up to 1 Mbps after their allowance is used. The company is also offering a 70 percent discount to certain customers born from 1986 to 2006 with no T Roaming usage in the past 36 months.

SKT teams up with Hana Card to offer Hana Money to overseas travel customers

SK Telecom said on Monday it has partnered with Hana Card to run a special promotion for customers using T Roaming and the TravelGO debit card. Customers who join the baro plan and spend at least 100,000 won overseas using the card will receive 20,000 Hana Money, paid at the end of the following month. The promotion runs through March 31, with applications via T World or Hana Pay.
