Smilegate Futurelab said on Monday it will run a digital maker education programme, \"Future Laboratory with Smilegate,\" in partnership with the Gyeonggi-do Seongnam Office of Education. The programme combines Futurelab’s digital creative education content with local education resources. It will be offered in two tracks: \"Futurebee Makerton\" for students from second-year middle school to first-year high school, and \"Futurebee Challenge\" for fifth- and sixth-grade elementary students through mid-September.

NC AI said on Tuesday its voice-generation AI service Varco Voice was selected as an outstanding AI use case at the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 hosted by the International Telecommunication Union, a U.N. agency. It said eight key AI models and services it submitted for the event were also listed in an official publication. NC AI also introduced My AAC, an app developed with the NC Cultural Foundation.
