NC AI said on Tuesday its voice-generation AI service Varco Voice was selected as an outstanding AI use case at the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a U.N. agency.
NC AI also said eight key AI models and services it submitted for the event were listed in an official publication.
The AI for Good Global Summit is an international AI event that supports efforts to use AI to address global challenges and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event's Innovate for Impact segment identifies and introduces cases in which AI technology is used to solve social problems.
Varco Voice was selected as an outstanding use case in that segment. NC AI said its multilingual voice-generation and emotion-expression technology was recognised for improving accessibility to content production. It said lowering barriers to producing voice content for creators, small and medium-sized businesses, and the public and education sectors was cited as the basis for the evaluation.
NC AI also introduced the augmentative and alternative communication app My AAC, which it developed with the NC Cultural Foundation. Applying Varco Voice technology, the app provides a personalised voice experience for users who have difficulty communicating.
NC AI Chief Executive Yeon-su Lee (이연수) said, "This achievement shows that NC AI's technology can tangibly improve human lives." He added, "We will build an inclusive industrial AI ecosystem so that anyone can use high-quality AI."
