Google’s paid subscription sign-ups totalled 350 million in the first quarter, up from 325 million in the fourth quarter, Alphabet said. YouTube ad revenue rose 11 percent to $9.88 billion but missed expectations of $9.99 billion. Alphabet’s overall revenue reached $109.9 billion, and cloud revenue topped $20 billion for the first time.
